George was active in so many different areas during his life. One common thread throughout his life was his passion and his desire to be the best at whatever he did. The most important thing in Georges life was his desire to be the best father and husband that he could. George loved his wife, of 16 plus years, Donna, and his daughters Shelby and Sarah more than anybody could imagine. His whole world revolved around them and everything he did was for them.  George was also the best son, brother, uncle, son-in-law and brother-in law anyone could have ever hoped for.  As we all know, family was everything to George.  George was also the best friend a person could ask for. He would do anything for anyone within his power. He wasn’t judgmental or critical of his friends, he treated them with respect and love like he would his own family.  For that we are deeply blessed to have known him.

Georges professional life revolved around Monster Truck shows he produced and announced. George took four events back in 1992 and grew his racing series into 15+ shows in 2009!  His goal was to provide the best possible family entertainment at an affordable price.  His shows were fun, safe and packed with excitement. George contributed many things to the monster truck racing community over the years and was a true gentleman in the promoting world.  The friends he made over the last 16 years will miss him, including Mike West and his best friend Scott Neely who has been with him since gradeschool. He considered them brothers and he loved and respected all those who helped make his shows a huge success. The Monster Truck World will never be the same without him.

George was also involved in his father’s businesses throughout the years. From his teenage years at Thompson Drag Raceway where he learned how to race backwards, (we all wondered how he got so good at that), to cleaning up with his Sister Jody after the races to announcing. He was always doing something to make his parents, George Sr. and Sandy’s life interesting. George also managed Scores Fun Center for his father as well. George was also an avid bowler and had several 300 games to his credit.

Other passions in George’s life included golfing, skiing, hunting, embarking on family trips in his motor home and volunteering for just about everything at St. Mary's School where Shelby and Sarah attend school. George was a homeroom Mom, a field trip Dad, well basically a “Go To Dad” as he was referred to by Sister Sandy, Principal  of St. Mary School.  Those privileged to participate in any of these events with him knew what a friendly yet fierce competitor George was. He loved to laugh and have fun no matter what important or menial task he was working on.

George was an all around great guy!
